Our Mission is to assist in the preservation and enhancement of Bennett Creek as a safe and navigable waterway for both commercial and recreational use. In carrying out our mission, our primary objectives are to: Maintain navigability of Bennett Creek by promoting the maintenance of the depth / width of the channel by the proper authorities. Objective #1 Promote the enjoyment of Bennett Creek through safe and preservation-minded recreational usage. Objective #2 Support the commercial interests that depend on the safe navigability of Bennett Creek. Objective #3 Enhance communication with the City of Suffolk, Army Corps of Engineers, and other agencies on whom we depend to support our mission. Objective #4 |
